I got a haircut in Japan

おはいよございます!

I went to a barber and it was a very unique experience.

At the barber shop, I bought a ticket and waited in line. In America you wait in line and then pay after. That way you can give the barber a tip. I am assuming the the ticket system is for efficiency.

I was happy that my Host sister and mother were there because getting a haircut was crossing into completely new territory for me. I had no clue what to say, but the staff and my host family were a huge help. I got my haircut and I was really happy with it.

If you ever go to Japan, I recommend getting a haircut. It is a whole new experience. You will feel very accomplished afterwards.
