My last week in Japan is slowly coming to a close. It is very sad to be leaving, but the last few days have been super fun!!!
On Monday, Satomi and I went to karaoke, and sang our hearts out to a song we both love(In Japanese!) !! Then I went to a barber that my host mom is friends with, and got a free wash and style. The guy who did my hair, the entire time, was telling me how different my hair was in all of these ways. Japanese salons are sososososooooo fun !! (Mostly because I got free tea, and the people were way nicer)
Then, On Tuesday my friends(Kippei, Hiroto, and Satomi) and I went to a place called a Spo-Cha. A Spo-Cha is a place kind of like a gymnastics gym, but with more stuff, Like ping-pong, tenis, badminton, and a batting area. We had so much fun and I am going to miss those guys.
On Wednesday, Jessica and I wanted to go to a mall in Nishinomiya by ourselves, called Nishinomiya Gardens. It is about two train rides away, each ride only about 2 minutes. We made it there no problem and then got to go shopping in the huge, 4 floor, mall!
Yesterday, some more friends(Taisei, Datsu, and Satomi) and I went to a zoo in Osaka. All the animals were super cute and the entire time Datsu kept saying he was the "Leader in the world", while Taisei would follow up with "I'm number two leader in the world". I laughed so hard everytime, so my sides started to hurt. We got dinner while we were out at this restaurant in Osaka where they give you oversized portions for a certain amount of people for a cheap price! We got a huuuuge bowl of chicken(the size of Taiseis head, plus some), and it was only about 1200 yen(12 dollars)!!
Today, we went to ANOTHER zoo!! !!! But, this one was different, it was a drive through safari sort of thing. We were so close to a whole bunch of the tigers and lions, it was kind of scary, but soso fun! Afterwards, we went to a waterpark sort of place, pools and slides. Japanese waterslides are scary, There was one with this drop that I almost flipped off my inner tube on ! Then we went out for dinner and I am now full of food and happily laying on the floor and writing.
Tomorrow I am going places with more friends, so I will post again before I leave!
