What to Expect When Going to School

Good evening everyone! It is currently 9:30 pm and I just got home from dance. We are preparing for the school festival that will be on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!

Going to a Japanese high school and becoming part of the student body is a huge leap from what it is like in America. In America I have a small group of friends that I am very close with, and random acquaintances, but here, I am the most popular person in school(Not including Jessica! She is at the same school and we are both about the same popularity).
Everyone wants you to be their friend, and everyone wants to talk to you. Every day that I walk into my class, I get at least a dozen students saying "Good morning" to me. Students in the hallway will wave at me, and giggle when I wave back. When I walk into a classroom people will look and me and then whisper to their friends, which, usually, end up waving at me.
Last week, Jessica and I went into a third year physics class(15 minutes late, because we couldn't find the classroom), and the 3rd years did not know we were at their school, since we stay with our grade. Let me tell you, everyone was begging for us to sit by them, and waving their hands wanting our attention. We chose this group of girls because they seemed the most friendly in the class.

The only problem with this newfound popularity, is the amount of names I have been trying to remember. Random girls(and guys!) in the hallway will stop me, tell me their name, then walk away.
How am I supposed to remember you, if all you did was tell me your name and run!?
I do remember almost all of the names in my class, my class is 2-7. The students, for the first week, would line up, and have me tell them each of their names. I usually got them wrong, but eventually, got them correct!

I can't wait to make even more friends!!
Until next time!

(I forgot to press upload so this is now after the school festival, sorry!)
